Our Auto Repair Philosophy
We understand that if you are without your vehicle it is not only an inconvenience but also it is costing you time and money!
How many times have you taken your vehicle to 3 different auto repair shops to be diagnosed and received 3 different repair estimates for completely different repairs on your vehicle?
Sadly this happens every day in Lansing. The reason is there are very few mechanics who have the experience and training to correctly identify the exact cause of many issues resulting in misdiagnosed parts swapping.
Many mechanics will find nothing at all, even more will replace parts that are not even worn out or causing the problem you brought the vehicle in for in the first place. They over sell and replace parts that were not even faulty all the time. These shops and auto shop owners have the gull to charge you knowing your vehicle is not fixed!
We are so confident in our diagnostic capabilities that we guarantee all of our repairs or you don’t pay!
If you have not been to our automotive repair shop stop by or give us a call and see what you and your family have been missing. Your vehicle will be repaired right the first time, for a fair price, with quality parts, the same day, with a minimum 1 year parts and labor warranty.
You can also rest assured that your vehicle will be repaired right the first time by a highly trained & skilled ASE Certified Automotive Repair Technician.
Our Lansing automotive repair shop will only use high quality original equipment or better automotive parts on your Car, Truck, Van, SUV or Commercial Fleet vehicle including Napa Auto Parts, AC Delco Auto Parts, or Motorcraft parts.
No matter what your service needs are, give us a call, we can repair every vehicle you own or drive!
We will earn your auto repair business each & every time you visit. We appreciate all of your testimonials, recommendations, referrals, Google Reviews , & your continued support.
Repair Tip Of The Day:
Before turning on your windshield wipers remove snow and ice build up around them. This will prevent damage to wiper arms and linkage saving you hundreds of dollars in repair cost.
Before lowering your windows during the winter make sure they are not frozen up. Usually the vehicle will need to be warmed up for a bit to achieve this. If the window is lowered and was froze up it will bend or break the window regulator resulting in a repair in excess of $300.
Repair Tip Of The Day:
Tires are undervalued during the winter months. Once your tires are less than 50% tread they no longer work well in snowy, rainy or slippery conditions. If you find at highway speeds and the vehicle feels like it sways or looses traction you may want to invest in at least two new tires for your main drive wheels.
This could literally make the difference between you stopping in time and not rear ending someone or the vehicle flying off the road out of control.
You can save the 50% tires and use them during the drier months of the year.

Lansing & East Lansing Auto Repair Heating & A/C Your air conditioning should be checked for proper operation and freon charge at least once a year. Freon is very hard to contain in an automotive system. The reason is your air conditioning compressor operates at all different speeds due to engine RPM. The rest of the system is comprised of many dissimilar materials that expand and contract and, along with the movement of the engine, this allows a minute amount of freon to escape. This is normal and that's why the system should be checked for a low charge. Checking....

Coolant System Power Flush In Lansing & East Lansing
… Read More
Whenever a fluid is in contact with metal, electrochemical degradation takes place, which results in a higher than normal level of acid present in the fluid. The higher acid level, if left unchanged, can result in very costly repairs. As a result, it is recommended to flush your cooling system and most importantly pH balance your antifreeze at least once every two years or 30,000 miles. This will help reduce the acid level and extend the life of your radiator, heater core, water pump, head gaskets, freeze plugs, radiator, and heater hoses. Why is it important to have your cooling....

East Lansing & Lansing Tune-up Professionals, Spark Plugs, Distributer Cap, Ignition Coil, Air, Fuel, Cabin Filters
… Read More
The term *tune up* was coined back when Henry Ford was working on his first prototype for the automobile. This first ignition system was very simple; one ignition coil for one *spark plug*, so if there were four *spark plugs* there would be four *ignition coils*. The coil needed to be adjusted to provide the same spark intensity for better idle and acceleration. As these *ignition coils* worked they made a buzzing sound so when they were adjusted properly they all buzzed the same; they were in tune. That's how the term tuneup was coined. This term stuck and was....

Todays vehicles no longer require what you the customer considers a "tune up". Performing an annual fuel cleaning will maintain the fuel economy, performance and eliminate many costly repairs due to carbon build up. Since your car was new, dirt, varnishes, and carbon deposits have been forming in your vehicle's fuel system on the intake valves and in the combustion areas. These buildups will rob your car of performance. Some of the symptoms related to carbon buildup are engine pinging, hesitation, poor acceleration, lack of power, repeated stalling when cold, poor performance when cold, rough idle, throttle sticks and poor fuel....

Brake Fluid Flush, Available in Lansing & East Lansing
… Read More
There is an increasing awareness of the dangers of water and corrosion producing contaminants. Brake fluid contaminated by moisture dangerously lowers the boiling point of the fluid to the point that, even under ordinary conditions, your brakes could get hot enough to cause the brake fluid to boil causing vapor to form in the brake system. The vapor is compressible, causing a low or no brake pedal. Water gets into the fluid because conventional brake fluid is hygrosconic (it has a magnetic attraction for moisture which it absorbs from the atmosphere). In the vehicle, moisture is absorbed through the brake....

Transmission Fluid Flush
Nearly 9 out of 10 transmission failures are due to overheating and fluid contamination, according to the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association. Just like the oil in your car's engine, automatic transmission fluid (ATF) suffers from heat, friction, and electrochemical degradation. Once this process starts, your transmission''s vital parts begin to clog with sludge and varnish deposits. Unlike your car's engine where all the oil can be drained out, most of the transmission fluid doesn't drain into the transmission pan. Instead, it stays in the torque converter, valve body, and transmission cooler lines, making a complete fluid drain impossible. In fact,....

Power Steering Fluid Flush
Most people at one time or another have encountered a power steering problem with either a power steering pump, hoses, gear box, or rack and pinion. Failures could be anything from noise, leaks, or stiffness when first starting the car. Power steering fluid is designed for power steering systems, and different manufacturers sometimes require different fluids. Under no condition is ATF to be used in power steering systems. The pressure in power steering systems on hard turns is much higher than in the automatic transmission under load. Power steering fluid is clear in color. Power steering fluid turns dark because....

Wheel Alignment
A wheel alignment consists, in its most basic form, an adjustment of the angles of the wheels on your vehicle so that they are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. The purpose of these adjustments is maximum tire life and a vehicle that tracks straight and true when driving along a straight and level road. There are 2 major types of alignments. Two wheel alignment and 4 wheel alignment. What many consumers don't know is that in order to align the front wheels of a vehicle the rear wheels have to be in alignment. The dirty little....

Rotate & Balance Tires
Tire rotation will help extend the life of your tires. We have found an out-of-balance tire can affect ride quality and shorten the life of tires, bearings, shocks and other suspension components. Typical costs: Rotation costs around $30 unless the tires have to be reprogrammed to vehicle position. Balancing tires costs an average of $12 per tire. Balancing tires every time they are rotated may not be necessary. Car experts believe that tires already in balance tend to stay in balance. They suggest having your tires rebalanced only if you feel a shimmy or vibration, or if the tires have....

Manufacturers of today's vehicles recommend replacement of timing belts between 60,000 and 100,000 miles. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT REPAIR TO BE PERFORMED ON TODAY'S VEHICLES. The average cost of the timing belt repair is $200 to $400. When the timing build breaks it will cause severe damage to engines resulting in a $1500 to $4000 repair. Most vehicles at this mileage are barely worth what it will cost to repair a timing belt failure. We at Professional Fleet Services can advise you if your vehicle has a timing belt and how much it will cost to repair. We will....

Replace Fuel Filter

What does the fuel filter do? Why should I replace my fuel filter? How Much does it cost to replace my fuel filter? These are good questions to ask because most people do not know. The fuel filter cleans the fuel of particles and debris that could enter the fuel system through the fuel tank. Typically between 30,000 and 60,000 miles the fuel filter will have reached it's filtering capacity or has begun to rust out to the point it may not be easily removed from the vehicle. If the fuel filter is not replaced sooner than this mileage debris....
